The personal contact adverts are from Repartee readers who have requested their adverts to appear on this web page as well as in Repartee magazine. In the magazine there are many more adverts of a similar nature as well as all the other features.

How to Reply to a Personal Ad.
If an Email address is given, simply click on it to write your reply and send it or make a note of the address to reply later.
If there is only a Box number, you must use snail mail and follow the normal procedure for sending contact mail as given in Repartee magazine. This is as follows:

1. Write your letters to each person you wish to contact and place each in a separate sealed unstamped envelope.
2. Write the appropriate box number in the top right corner of each envelope where it will be covered by the stamp. DO NOT WRITE ANYTHING ELSE ON THE ENVELOPES.
3. Place all the envelopes in another larger envelope. If you are in UK, also include sufficient LOOSE stamps for all the replies to be forwarded. Please check that sufficient postage is included, especially for heavier than usual packets and letters to advertisers outside UK, otherwise your letter will not be forwarded. If you are outside UK, the forwarding fee should be sufficient to cover onward postage for your letter(s).
4. Include in the outer envelope either a piece of paper indicating your Rose's membership number OR the appropriate forwarding fee. IF NEITHER IS INCLUDED, YOUR LETTER(S) WILL NOT BE FORWARDED.
5. Send the complete packet to Rose’s.

Forwarding Fees
Replies to UK contacts from Rose’s members are FREE.
Otherwise -
50 pence (UK) or 1 US dollar for each letter to be forwarded to contacts in UK.
Double above for letters to contacts outside UK (max 40 grams) or for letters for UK which are more than 60 grams (max 100 grams).
Cheques (checks) to be made payable to Rose’s.

Cost of having an advert on this Page
There is no charge for having an advert on this page provided you have an advert in Repartee magazine at the same time. If you are a member of Rose’s, personal adverts in Repartee are free (one per subscription period). For others, the rate is 10 pence per word (minimum 2 UK pounds). Box numbers and photographs are free. If you want your advert on this Web page only, the wordage rate applies whether or not you are a member of Rose’s.
